The Very Large Array: San Diego/Tijuana Artists in the MCA Collection

There’s a reason the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego is calling its next downtown exhibit, “The Very Large Array: San Diego/Tijuana Artists in the MCA Collection.” Opening Nov. 29 as part of the museum’s monthly TNT (Thursday Night Thing), the exhibit will include more than 80 artists representing over five decades of collecting (beginning in 1959).

The exhibit, which continues through June 1, will utilize the museum’s large, Farrell Gallery. The museum will also construct a “white cube” space within the gallery to present a “focused selection” of works that will rotate every three or four months.
